What is media? We just don't know.

This is where I get to dump a bunch of names of things I like! How exciting.

Video games

I do quite like Animal Crossing... love to be friends with funny animals who give me pears for doing their chores.

an 88x31 button with a pink background, Bob the cat from Animal Crossing spinning in a flying pose, and the text 'POWERED BY bob'.

I´d say I like a lot of RPGs, especially JRPGS, but they have to hit a certain chord with me,
and that chord is having enough funny animals and other creatures to keep my attention.
(You might be noticing a pattern.)
Final Fantasy (mostly VI, VII, IX, XI, XII, XIV, Tactics, Tactics Advance, and Tactics A2),
and Pokémon (basically all of them; main series, PMD, etc.),
are definitely two that stand out to me.

an 88x31 button with the Final Fantasy XIV logo. an 88x31 button with the Pokémon series logo and a Pikachu running towards the viewer, all tone-shifted to purple.

A lot of indies that I like, some pretty well known like Undertale and Deltarune,
others with a bit less being-given-to-Pope-Francis,-may-he-rest-in-peace, like Corn Kidz 64 and Rain World.

an 88x31 button with Ralsei chuffing a fat dart. an 88x31 button with a black background, indigo shapes, and the text 'BOGOZONE' in red; the website of the creator of Corn Kidz 64 and other-type games. an 88x31 button with a dark grey blackground, and a slug cat from Rain World, along with the text 'Slug ca' in red. (The text is cut off on purpose.)

Ask me about how much I once spent on Japanese imports related to Doko Demo Issyo when I was a dumb teenager. (Don't.)

an 88x31 button with a pink picnic-blanket background with flowers, a picture of Toro Inoue with a lollipop, and the text 'TORO INOUE' in black.

Oh, and I fucking love Little Tail Bronx. Red Savarin is me; actually. Salut, et cetera. And Waffle is a good boy.

Music

Forgive me father; why should you bother? (This webpage name! This webpage name!)
You're not the Jesus of Suburbia; the Saint Jimmy is a figment of your father's rage and your mother's love; made me the idiot America...
I believe in angels; not the kind with wings, no, not the kind with halos; the kind that bring you home...
Sometimes I sit at home, and wonder if she's sitting at home, thinking of me, and wondering if I'm sitting at home, thinking about her...
It's time to consider that baby is a sinner; she'll wash away your sins, and go home...

Artwork

I'm a furry (shock horror); so obviously I like anthropomorphic animal themes in stuff.
But in a more general sense; well I have a pretty broad idea of what I consider art to begin with...
Traditional 'drawing' and 'painting' artworks, but also typography, photography, videography,
UI/UX, code-as-art...
As far as aesthetics; I tend to slant a bit modernist and minimalist,
while picking up on things of nostalgic, and thus sentimental value to me, like skeumorphism.
I quite like grunge and punk looks, but I don't know if their proprietors like me.
(Although if you ask me; to gatekeep it, as it were, would certainly go against their own ethoses, surely...)
Hasn't stopped me adding those elements to my own characters or such, of course.

Web comics

I know what you're thinking. First; 'people still make those?', and second; 'people still read those?'
The answer to both of those is 'maybe'; a lot of them are more or less 'done' these days,
and it's not like many people are using RSS readers these days, either.
But many of them still hold a special place in my heart for one reason or another, like these ones:

an 88x31 button with the SBURB logo from Homestuck itself, and the text 'download' followed by the SBURB wordmark. This doesn't lead to any downloads though (not directly, anyway,) just a fan homepage for Homestuck since the actual website(s) are gone. an 88x31 button with Sabrina the Skunk from Sabrina Online in a circular cutout with a blue background, the Sabrina wordmark, and the text 'Now!' below it in the spirit of the old Netscape buttons. there is also a purple banner in the lower right corner with a yellow smiley face in it. an 88x31 button with a close up of Flora from TwoKinds' face and the TwoKinds wordmark.

and these are here more because of being little Shiloh's realisation they liked anthropomorphic animals,
rather than for being outright 'good' reads (although taste is always subjective),
although SaveState's Sims 4 mod is still the baseline furry custom content for that game nearly a decade later,
so make of that what you will, I guess.

an 88x31 button with the titular Gamercat, and the text/wordmark 'the GaMERCaT'. an 88x31 button with a green background, a picture of Nicole from SaveState, and the text 'SAVESTATECOMIC.COM'. an 88x31 button with Aeris and Leo from VGCats looking at something wide-eyed, with Leo holding some kind of box in his hands, and the text VGCATS in the corner.

Cross-media

Nekojiru is a... thing that my partner is much more knowledgeable about,
but I like the cats doing or being around very strange things. I'll need to read these myself eventually.

an 88x31 button with Nyaako from Nekojiru scrolling upwards continuously with a slight VHS wiggle effect, and the text 'READ NEKOJIRU'.

Dean Dodrill's Elysian Tail, including Dust: AET, is pretty cool.
